I have not had chickens since I was a kid...and my three year old was having a fit for some chickens. Thankfully, I took the time, did a little research, built a coop and pen, explained things to a couple of neighbors, and finally bought some pullets.

All is well and I can not believe all the info on this site.

Hey Ceylon. Welcome to BYC. We live in TN now, but spent over 20 years in Charleston, living first on the Navy Base (when there was one!) and then West of the Ashley. There are things I miss about Charleston; it's a beautiful city and has the best Goodwill stores in the universe (I'm a bargain shopper!!) Be sure to let everyone know what kind of pullets you bought. Enjoy the eggs!
