I've been using the forum section as I get all my stuff together anyway sooo I went ahead and signed up! I don't have chickens yet. I'll be converting part of an old shed into the coop with an attached run. Planning on about 10-12 hens. I have 4 dogs so free range isn't possible. We also have fox, dogs, coyotes, hawks, and owls. Plenty of predators! I'm sure I will be pouring over past questions forever.

Thank you everyone! I do believe I've found my 'group'. My eighteen year old is scared of chickens after being chased by a rooster when she was younger - so she's not too fond of this deal.
