I have Four Hens, two Bantys (Wanda & KIKI, one red hen (red) and one americana (truffles) . One rooster a Sultan, (Sultini) My Banty Wanda has been laying on eggs for about a month at first I coudnt find her, then one day I spotted her and followed her to her nest, yesterday one chick came out with her and my cats wanted to play with it so I put them all in a cage in the house (mom,chick,eggs). She is still laying on five eggs, I hope they hatch..

I found BYC by google.

I hope I learn tons about chickens..

first off let me say

i live in the east bay area and congrats on your broody hen, this site is filled with alot of wonderful information when i stasrte don this sit ei had 1 laying hen so since november of 2008 i have hatched out 21 chicks 1 duck and i have 2 older chicks (like 14 or 15 weeks now) but this site will get you addicted so be careful lol well good luck again on the rest of those eggs hatching also when you got time it is a ritual her eon byc to post pics of your new chics congratz
