I've been in full-on chicken research mode for weeks now and finally made the plunge to join here! I think we found our coop today, it's a shed on a trailer, fully converted to be a coop! We'll need a run for it because hawks love to pick off the chickens around here, but that's doable. I'm so excited! My plan is to pick up: 3 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Americaunas, 2 Buff Orpington, and 2 Black Australorp on April 6th from our local feed shop. Can't wait to meet some of you here
