My daughter and I have kept chickens and other birds for many years, and I think she even loves them more than I do! I am a biologist and ornithologist with a life long love of birds, especially poultry. Until recently, we have had few mishaps, but a weasel just killed 18 of our beloved birds and my search for solutions brought me to this website. I look forward to meeting some of you and talking chicken. Oh, I also have 4 other children, the oldest of which, is a boy who loves the chickens too, and keeps an obnoxious rooster as a special pet.
