I've been lurking since b4 the Chickenstock at TSC in Martinsburg but finally decided to introduce myself! I'm in Jefferson Co w/a husband, 2 kids, 2 steers, 2 donkeys, 3 goats, 2 dogs, 3 cats and 1 house rabbit.
I have a hand-me-down flock of RIR's. I also had 2 white Polish but they decided to stroll thru the fence to Mr Fox's place.
My husband gave me 3 BO's for Mother's Day but Mr Fox strolled back thru the fence to meet 2 of them.
Now we are double-fenced all around and I'm wanting to add to the flock. I'm currently at 8hens and 1Roo in a nice (if I do say so myself) 8x10 house. I'd like a few more BO's but am having a hard time finding them.
I also like the look of SL Wyandottes but am not sure of their laying habits, free-ranging or personalities. I'd like all info and recommendations I can get!
