eIm fairly new to the chicken thing- but have totally jumped right in! Ive got a handful of "backyard" chooks and just got my much anticipated group of BLACK COPPER MARANS!!!!wooo. so excited!! my husband thinks Im nuts.hehe. I recently set up my own incubator- used styrofoam insulating sheets, duct tape and about a half hr worth of wiring and we are go!! Ive got a mess of guinea eggs in my turner and a small still air turned circulated air little giant full of americauna, duck and button quail- oh and a week old turkey i was given. weird little thing likes being held.
