Hi there, new to chickens and have used this as reference a couple times so I decided to join. Thanks for having me 
. we are a small outfit, we have 4 hens, 2 getting there and a rooster named Digger, probably for obvious reasons. I got into this because I have a friend that has chickens and love those eggs, beat store bought hands down. May not be cheaper but I havent bothered to compute it, I enjoy the eggs too much to care. So we built a small coop and got started, and here I am. Ill post pics later cause Im really enjoying my hens and need to go out and check their water and food.
