Hi, there! I'm in central GA and my husband and I have decided that we want to venture into the world of chickens to go along with the general craziness here (3 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 veggie gardens). We have 8 acres and are classified in a rural/farming area. Many of the people who live on my road already have chickens, so we are not too worried about the neighbors.
I really want to learn about coop/run design and how to keep my hens safe from predators, esp. my dogs.
