Chickens are new to me and my children (my husband's family had some when he was growing up). I have three kids, two boys and one girl. We have 4 chicks and a duck, that we purchased about three weeks ago. I have been searching the internet trying to learn about chickens and found this site. My oldest son picked the chicks and duck out, so we have three different kinds of chicks (and I'm not positive what they are). They are cute and fun to watch, and the kids love to play with them.

We are about 40 miles south of Warner Robins. I forgot to mention that my two oldest kids are in 4H and raised hogs (for 4H). We did have a Bassett Hound, but she had to be put to sleep (had cancer)
