Hi! My name is Sarah. We bought a house in Indiana a year ago, and in the process, inherited 3 Light Brahma hens at the same time. They laid eggs for us about 9 months and we fell in-love with chickens. So we just got 9 chicks from the local tractor supply store (5 Americaunas, 2 Barred Rock and 2 Black Stars), then a girlfriend gave me 11 chicks they hatched for a 4H/Homeschool project. And in mid-March we'll be getting 5 each of Golden Laced Wyandotte, Speckled Sussex, and Welsummer. So we dive in and go big when we do something! HA HA HA Excited for the ride!!
