Hello Everyone! I'm new to the site and new to chickens. We got our first 8 in March of this year. We had some problems with neighbors dogs and were down to 3 last month We have gotten that resolved and now are back up to 10 We got our first egg from our golden comet, Reba, yesterday.
I'm having trouble posting pictures and an avatar but am working on it. Happy to be here!!!

from West Virginia! So sorry about losing your babies to the dog.

I've been lucky in that aspect. My dogs only had to be told once the babies were not food and they have since left them alone. Congrats on your egg!!! Still waiting on my first.

Thanks guys! Any advice on posting pictures? It won't upload my pictures for some reason. They are pictures that were downloaded to my computer from my other iphone. Could that be the problem?
