Something killing my birds emergency

The last few weeks we have been having a problem with something killing our chickens. Some of the birds go missing and others are killed but not eaten or ripped apart, like for sport. There is no bit marks or any wounds. This thing also hasn’t targeted the ducks or geese.in one night we lost 11 chickens. Idk what can kill that many without leaving a mark on them.

Without knowing the type of set up you have and where they were killed I can't guess what killed them.Time and place.All openings should be covered in 1/2" 16 gauge galvanized steel hardware cloth and secured properly .They'll keep killing them until you fix the coop,kill the predator or move your chickens to a safer location.

I've never heard of a predator that is capable of killing chickens and not leaving any marks.I suppose they could be harassed and had a heart attack from stress but that would be rare .Canines are the likely culprit when carried off (foxes,coyotes dogs,wolves,etc)Coons make a horrible mess

How are your chickens kept? Free range? A run? I'd reccomend investing in some game cameras

I second the camera idea. It'll help you know what is around and in your coop. Chickens are unfortunately prey for so many different things. Is this happening overnight? Are they free ranging when it happens? What is your security like? Those details might help narrow down the common suspects.
