Welcome to BYC and our flock! Enjoy and don't hesitate to ask if you have queries. Hope your hatch is successful.

I set 24 eggs in incubator the first candling showed growth in 22 eggs. The 7 day candling showed more growth in around 20 eggs. The last candling at 14 days showed almost all with blood rings and no signs of new growth. I left them anyways today makes 19 days took them out of the turner and left in incubator raised humidity a bit but I am sure all are dead. Could some of you that is experienced at this tell me what I might have done wrong?

Sorry about what looks to be a bad hatch. You might want to post in the Incubating and Hatching Eggs forum for advice. https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs My first guess if you lose a whole batch of eggs that were developing, is that you had incubator problems somewhere along the line related to the temperature, ie a temperature spike. What sort of incubator is it, and are you double checking your thermometer and high/low temps? On the eggs, where did you get the eggs? Have you hatched eggs from that source before?

Hi and thanks for responding. I am not sure what happened to them I kept a check on temp but work nights so its possible that the temp went up and I didnt know it. I got the eggs from a local farmer who had an abundance and was willing to help us out. I waited about 4 days past hatch day and cracked them open. Most was just a nasty watery yellow mess. One was a chick with the start of feathers and from what I can tell from pictures was around day 13 or 14.
