These are gold lace wyandottes.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
All roads lead to home, and all chicken searches on google lead to here!

Needle arts, board games, reading
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Two years ago my husband and I moved out to his childhood home--what's left of the family farm (a couple acres and a somewhat run-down house.) We have a few inside cats, and a Welsh Corgi. Although it's not a lot of land, it's nice to have some breathing room after being in the city for 15 years.

Thank you all so much for the warm welcome and all the wonderful resources here. It took me a whole year to get started with chickens, unfortunately, due to getting a back injury that prevented the finishing of our coop. Now that I’m healed up and the coop is built, I’ve already started doing chicken math.:)
