Hi - I'm Pat from MA - a retired nurse, fiber artist, mother of 4 and I've been spending an awful lot of time here at BYC so decided to make it official and join 
I have 5 chicks arriving on May 7-8 (Australorp, Rhode Island Red, Plymouth Barred Rock, Easter Egger and Golden Buff (sex link) - I can hardly wait, but I'm glad I have some time since I'm building my own coop. I think I've memorized every small/med.coop project shown here in BYC - I spend hours looking at them for ideas. Up until this point I have only ever built a bookcase, so this should be an interesting experience!
I have finally decided on a version of The Garden Coop and have all my framing lumber cut to size - wahoo!
