6 years ago, my son had an egg hatch in his lap. We still have that old black rooster. We also now have chickens, ducks, geese guineas, Muscovy, and emus. Maybe I should have left that egg in my mom's coop. A lot of my chickens are mixed breed, farm surprise chickens and I love it. My hatches are like a box of chocolates...
