Hey everyone,

We are brand-spanking new to the chicken world - wish us luck! We ordered 6 chicks that are coming in in 2 weeks - 3 Buffs and 3 Barred Rocks. We picked them as they are known to be more calm and lay a good amount of eggs.

We have the brooder all ready to go and are starting to work on a chicken run. If anyone has any thoughts on a run, it would be super helpful! We already have a chicken coop so we are lucky there.

Anyways, we are from Maine and are loving this site. So many useful posts!
