HI, This is the third year my son and i have tried to raise chickens. we live in a very rural area and have had preditor issues the two previous time we have attemted this.
No more free range for us.
I do have a question and iam not sure where to ask so i am going to try right here.
This year we also got a rooster, the intent was to help protect the hens. I was not thinking about him fertalizing eggs.
Is there a way to keep my rooster without him affecting the laying hens, we want just eggs to eat and share with neighbors.
Thanks for any help or advise.
Lenny
