Hi everyone.
I live in Manchester, UK and have 2 geese. I first hatched chickens back in 2021 and they were both roosters so off to the rescue they went. (We're in an urban area, they were loud and we had sorted it just in case.)
We now have 2 geese that we hatched, their names range from Goosicle, to Geeps, to Babies, to Bruce, Peep, Poopers, Honks, Honkers.. you name it!
They are both 4 weeks and 2 days old and Embden x Toulouse. We adore them even though they stink
We were super lucky hatching these little guys (or girls) and we really really want to get hold of some nappies for them.
We have 6 cats, a snake, a leopard gecko and these, our babies. I had a vision of my geese wandering the house and the garden, curling up on the sofa with a cat and a cushion... definitely not going to happen but it's a dream!
Anyway, it's nice to be here and to hopefully connect with other goose/chicken mamas here or a across the pond.
