We recently moved here from Chicagoland. We now have four girls: two Barred Rocks, an Ameraucana and a Rhode Island Red. They are five 1/2 months old and we got them just a week or so ago. We have never owned chickens until now, but are thrilled to have them. On a less positive note, they discovered they have a taste for my succulent collection- which was quite lovely until yesterday when they finished them off. I am astonished at how hungry they are!
