Hi I am Jo and I am very new to owning chickens. We are buying three hens on Friday 6th June and I have just finished our chicken coop. I have checked our council regulations, and positioned it in the middle of the yard and have a little run around it, We have a Labrador so have to keep both pets happy. I am trying to read as much as I can. I am married to Mick and have an 11 year old son. Looking forward to this new adventure.

Be very careful with dogs around chickens. Most dogs see chickens as dinner and will kill your birds. So just be very careful.
