I have had my girls for just over 2 months now and so far they're all still alive and kicking. These are my first chickens ever and it's good to know that there are wonderful communities like this where I can learn how to better look after my girls and see how the other side of the world looks after their flocks. I also belong to another community called backyardpoultry which is mainly Australian based, but I love seeing and reading about chickens wherever they may be. At the moment it's cold, wet and miserable where I am, and my thoughts go out to those who are currently experiencing the bushfires and terrible devastation, hope everything will settle down very soon and that everyone stays safe.
