we have two japanese white bantams, two giant golden cochins a laced cornish and a white bantam silkie. we borrowed the neighbors black tailed white bantam and we now have 6 baby silkie mixes! they are still very tiny, after three weeks they look freshly hatched. my three year old human girl keeps looking at them and going, "awww..!" they are very adorable. i'm keeping them in an outside dove cage, as we have families of hawks in the trees in our yard. yesterday i found a snake, trying to eat an egg, in the big chickens house! we dispatched of it. the chickens didn't seem that worried, for some reason. they even got right back on the same nest!
