Hi from Missouri, and I need some advice please

Welcome. I am new too. I am looking forward to being able to post photos of my coop and chickens as well. I'll look forward to seeing your set up. Keeping them safe is definitely priority. Free ranging is fun and healthy but it does come with consequences. Chickens, as I've found, are easy enough to please. Talk to you later...and welcome...Angela (dsquawker)

Thank you everyone for the welcome, I am glad to be here.

hello and welcome
checked out your page, all looks fine to me. lovely chickens! if you want them to go into the coop just toss some treats in there. chasing them will make them wild. then if you want to tame them, hold treats in your hand and let them come eat it. it takes time, but it works.
enjoy!

Thanks, and I am glad I joind too. I really am not an animal person, but these chickens have me hooked.

they are too funny to watch so I go out side more. I am thinking of puting my patio table and chairs out by them so I can sit there all the time

I can't tell from the pics if you have done this already, but for a chainlink dog kennel you need to line the bottom part with some chicken wire or hardware cloth (depending on your preference) or owls and raccoons will pull the chickens through the chainlink (happened to me).

If you want to apron it out to prevent digging too, that's all the better (or bury it).

Predator proof is 1/2 inch hardware cloth due to weasels, but I don't get that picky myself for daytime digs.
