I live near Chillicothe, Mo. We have three children, 18, 20, and 22. I love little silkies. I have several that are bearded...they are adorable. I hope to learn and have fun on here.
 
Since you love silkies, I think you would really enjoy the "Silkie thread," just put that in the search box and it should pop up. I like the bearded silkies too. My friend has 3 silkie house chickens. There is another variety of silkie called Showgirls. You might want to investigate that thread too. They have the usual silkie temperament and strong brooding characteristics as well .
