Hi all, I'm so new to this I don't even have a chicken yet. but getting more excited the more I read into this. This is a great site and I'm looking forward to building a coop, raising chickens and watch my little ones go out and collect the eggs.

Hi. I just joined yesterday. I think once you get your chickens you'll wander why you didn't sooner then this. It is a great site from what I have seen so far and very helpful. Because, you know that sooner or later you will find someone who has the same problem that you had or will be able to direct to some other place for get helpful tips. I also subscribe to a great magazine called "Backyard Poultry" they also have a website and it also directed me to other helpful site. I just happened to come on to this site by typing in backyardchickens and I am glad I do. I'm glad your going to get some chickens.
