thanks guys , you really know how to welcome folks!! we are still trying to figure out what breed we are gonna get. we are looking mainly for egg layers,but friendly.brahma was our first choice, but after reading about the breed more not sure if it will produce very many eggs. so now looking at rir and australops.!?!?!?!? both these breeds are available close by.
 
Welcome to BYC. Red Stars are great layers,mine lay lge. eggs every day.
