We got our first chickens last summer and finally getting some eggs. I got some random chicks from the store and ended up with a white mix Chinese bantam rooster and three different colored Cochin bantam hens. I love them all and they are so sweet!
I managed to convince the husband that our life was not complete without ducks and now we have six ducklings. I am not sure if the breeds but I think I have a khaki campbell, blue swedish, two buffs, a welsh harlequin, and a little black and yellow that I can’t even hazard a guess on.
We are enjoying life out of town with our fowl, dog, two kids, and the occasional horse or calf.
