I have googled things about my "chicken concerns or wonderings" many times and I always get directed to here so thought I should join finally. I really appreciate all the help I have got from here in the past, thank you, and although I can't probably offer much in the way of expertise, I can still make friends with other BYC owners!

Glad to be here! Wow, all those places you are from and me over here in "Middle Earth" going into winter. (That was a Hobbit/LOTR thing, by the way!). Have had chickens for 10 years or so now. Let my two new chooks out into the "garden" (there's a few paddocks too) for the first time today and "Yay" they went back to base

eventually...... after the other two older ones made the decison to return and I ran around looking like an idiot herding them back! Luckily no-one was here to see me looking silly! Cute noises though from our new littlefriends !

All back safe and sound perching together on their branches in their enclosure - love the way they never sleep in their house but perch huddled together every night ....
