Hi All! My name is Julie and I live in New Hampshire! I'm new to BYC and chicken keeping in general!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm totally new to chicken keeping! I'll be getting my first chickens in about two weeks!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None!! But I'll be getting 4 chicks in about two weeks!
(3) What breeds do you have?
I will have 1 Buff Brahma, 1 English Orpington, and 2 Easter Eggers
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
A friend of mine (who suggested I get chickens), introduced me to BYC
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, camping, riding on the back of hubby's motorcycle.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I've been married for almost 4 years. We have a wonderful two year old daughter and are planning on adding to our family hopefully soon
. We have two dogs, a rhodesian ridgeback and a pit mix. I'm a registered nurse in a Pediatric ICU at the largest hospital in my state. I'm also in graduate school for my Masters in Nursing Education. I'm hoping chicken keeping will be my form of relaxation!
