That's for all the welcomes. That's a pretty cool about the dna testing. But I've already got two crowing. I can go another month or so to know for sure. Anyone up in the northeast with young silkie hens for sale? Hehe. On it looks like I can post pictures straight from here using my phone. I'll go take some of the silkies now. And see what I have on my phone for the others
 
Well looks like my service/wifi is too slow to load them here at least I'll have them on my phone for tomorrow when I get to work

Silkies are extremely difficult to sex before 4-5 mos. of age. If anyone quarantees the sex before then, I would run the other way. If you go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum - you can locate and post on your state thread. You could ask there, is anyone has silkie hens or point of lay birds.

Also put "Silkie Thread," in the search box - so you can post where experienced breeders can offer the best advice.
