Hi Everyone,
I am hoping by starting this project that it will keep the snow away and spring will be here to stay.
I am totally new to chickens, we are going to HD tomorrow to get the supplies to build our coop. This project has a deadline, there is a big poultry show held locally in May, and I'm hoping/planning to get the chickens then.
We have decided on the chicken coop style, using the Purina feed model I found here, we are now refining the run area and the biggie, picking color(s).
Originally my husband wanted the coop somewhere where he couldn't see it. We are now considering places in our backyard, right outside the porch door. The chicken outlook is improving!
