(1) I have had chickens and ducks on and off for 40 years. I have never felt day sha vu so much this time.
I have : 10 naked necks, 9 ducks a quacking, 8 danvier bantams, 7 young mixed bantams, 6 dogs a barking, 5 barred rock hens, 4 road island reds, 3 Easter eggers, 2 Silkie Roo Roos and 1 lonely Millie d’ fleur. Lol. Oh and 1 BR roo that gets chased by the Dutch bantam Roos. I know I missed some,
I love the interactions with them, I love hatching baby chicks. Hobbies? Lmbo mowing, weedeating, flowers, I think I only go in the house to eat & sleep & bathroom stuff. Lol
Married for 36 years, had 5 beautiful kids, lost my oldest son 14 years ago. It does not get easier with time.
I found BYC today when I googled if a BR Roo could breed with a Millie d’ fleur. I think I have a chick that I hatched. Those BR Roos get around, I have 3 BR naked necks too.
