You might try the holographic rainbow tape that Walmart's sells in the garden section.
They had clearance on it a few years ago and I bought all I could get for $ 1.oo each.
I use it to keep the robin from pooing all over my mailbox. It's his favorite dumpspot.

Some people use it to mess up raptor brains and they avoid it.

Nice!!! I used what I had lying around... scrap ribbon, fishing line and mason jar lids but I'll totally check that idea out as I have a few areas left I may add a few more lines as well when we build our garden I will need something! You got quite the deal!
