Hi! I'm from Northern British Columbia. I have a little place that's surrounded by mountains, and I take a reaction ferry or cable car suspended across the river to get home. Seasonal vehicle access throughout the year. It's a little remote without being too far out of the nearest town. I love it!
I have a mixed flock of Large Fowl Cochins right now (Silver Laced, Black, Barred, and a Mixed color one who has markings like a Barnvelder), but am getting an order of 30 Gold Laced Cochin Chicks tomorrow. I'm really, really excited about it. These are originally coming from Ideal Poultry. I'm really curious as to what they will look like, and what the quality will be like.
Does anyone else have Gold Laced Cochins from Ideal?
As well as my beloved Cochins, I have a some Blue Laced Red Wyandottes (7 hens and a few Roos) a few Polish, silkies, brahma and the odd other chicken.
I also have a flock of 8 Guinea Fowl, which I love.
