Hi from Northern Virginia!

Hi there!

I come from NOVA ( the place everyone doesn't like if you live in southern VA, even I'm not huge fan) I'm a nursing student and I work at the MEWS barn in great falls and we have three horses two mini horses and 4 red star chickens!!

I came across this website back when I first got my girls but i never joined and I am not sure why.

I am looking for 4 more pullets that are all different breeds but I def need help with how i should get them all at once so i can make the introductions go a lot smoother. (i don't want chicks at the moment because that requires a lot more work for me right now) and it seems that every farm in VA is only selling red stars haha

If anyone knows of any place in the DMV area that could help, that would be wonderful!!

I'm not certain but I think some hatcheries will sell "point of lay " pullets - these would not be little chicks. but just about to start laying.
