I'm new to raising chickens. My fiancé & I got 2 Golden Comets in April and they are currently around 29 or 30 weeks I believe. We are currently having problems, as they are not laying for us! I hope to find out why & get tips to help them here. We have one dog as well, a 4 year old chocolate lab.

[IMG] [IMG] from a fellow Buckeye. If you haven't already, you should post your problem under emergencies or chicken behaviors and egglaying. You might get a better response there. Not everyone looks at the New member posting. Without enough info. on your birds, it could be just that they are starting to molt. Good luck. [IMG]

Are your chickens free-ranging? If they are, they could be laying their eggs under bushes, in private little corners, or wherever else they please. [IMG]
