Hello, I'm new to the site and chickens, My name is Chuck and I'm 52 yrs young lol. Hoping to enjoying this site and chatting everyone and learning more about Chickens my interest is Barred Plymouth Rock and Golden Comets as I wanted dual purpose chickens for eggs and meat.

Hi and welcome from Southern California. I love Barred Rocks, too. If I didn't keep just bantams these days, I would have a flock full of Barred Rocks. I think they are great breed.

Thanks, I actually live just East of Dayton Ohio was thinking of the Rhode Island Reds but after studying them i'm gonna go with Golden Comets and [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Barred Plymouth Rocks as i think they would get along better in the coop[/FONT]
