I know QUITE A FEW people that live right smack in town and have 3-5 chickens in their coops ;-) As long as there are no roosters to make a lot of noise, I think as long as you keep things clean, people won't have a problem. Talk to your neighbors and maybe butter them up with eggs if they're not so hot with the idea of having chickens near them
