Hi! I'm a new group member today. I'm located in Plano Tx.
Not sure what to Tell you as a newbie so I'm reverting to the intro template as suggested
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No, I have had chickens before. It was about 13 years ago though and I have forgotten a lot since then.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None now. Up 150 before. I had a hard time with them. Coyotes, hawks, and bobcats were relentless...as well as a neighbors Samoan dog. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. LOL
(3) What breeds do you have?
I had Road Island Reds.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Funny enough...The City of Plano website.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Geneology, Research, Design, Massage, Holistic Healthcare
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married. I have four kids. Three girls and a boy. Two of my girls are adults and my two little ones are in elementary. I have two grandchildren (twin boys). I'm a homemaker and massage therapist. I lived in a farm in Hunt County before buying my home in Plano. I was born and raised in the Dallas area before that.
