Howdy San Antonio

Your new member post is a story that's very close to mine. I joined BYC just a few days ago, but have been thinking about and researching having my own small back-yard flock for quite some time. It has taken some time to convince my husband that this is the right thing to do - and that somehow I/we will be able to manage it. Fortunately, we don't have to deal with any HOA. One of my neighbours is interested in it and we may possibly share the hens/eggs/work. But as of yet we don't have any chickens

- the shed/coop is almost finished, so when it is ready then we'll be joining all the other happy hen owners
