Hi,

I'm Angela and I'm a chicken newbie. I just got my dh to build my new coop and we purchased 5 chickens.I have a Buff Orpington Roo and Hen, a Black Sex Link hen, we think. We also have 2 White Leghorn hens. Hopefully I will find an EE. I want a variety in my eggs LOL.

I really fell in love fast with my BOs. They don't run up to be picked up for sure but they are so sweet and alot more docile than my Leghorns. The SL is sweet too. I got all three from the same person and they don't mind being handled too much. My roo is still young, no spurs yet and he mated with my Leghorns so he's a little more protective of the hens now lol but he tolerates me .
