Hi, my name is Missy, and I want chickens....
I've wanted chickens for...well...for years! In the spring my dream will be realized. We are slowly getting everything set up. We got a brooder, feeders, waterers and some fencing so far. The electrician will be coming in February (have to wait for the budget to afford it) to rewire the garage so I can turn 1/2 into a coop. Then it's a matter of getting the chickens.
I have lots of questions!
I think the chickens will be good for our 5 littles (almost 2, 5, 7, 9 & almost 12). It will teach them responsibility and hopefully make them not fight so much...but knowing them..they'll fight over who gets to collect the eggs!
