Hey all. My family just entered the world of backyard chickens last weekend. Picked up 5 chicks ranging from 4 weeks to 12. The coop is essentially finished. I'll put up pics later. We had an unfortunate incident with our dog, 5 year old and his 8 week old chick Miss Bubbles this morning. Miss B got attacked when our 5 year old was playing with her in the yard and didn't know that our Australian Eskimo got out of the house. Amazingly Erik got Miss B away from Marley, but she is hurt. Limping and shaken up. We've isolated her in a separate container with warming light and pad/food and water. If anyone has thoughts, that would be great.
