Hey I'm new to raising chickens about to build a coop any tips and advice is always welcome. I am about to purchase ten RIR hens and two RIR Roos. Any advice guys and gals?

X2 You will only need or want 1 rooster. 2 roos will fight. The proper ratio is 1 roo to 10 to 12 hens.

Thanks guys I am also wanting to get some meat chickens. Any suggestions on what to get I want some that grow fast and I want about 25 for my family and parents and brothers family
