HI! Been browsing here often to gather info on chickens!
My husband and I bought our chicks from a small private farm back in June. They ranged from 4-8 weeks old when we got them. We got 7: Light Brahma (the youngest and her name is Snowflake), Buff Orpington (Rosy), Amerucana (Hei-Hei, we have a 5 year old who loves Moana), Barred Rock (Brattie), Jersey Gold Sexlink, (Lulu), Jersey Black Sexlink (Goldilocks), and Jersey Red Sexlink (Gidget). Now they are about 14-17 weeks old.
My husband also built the coop and it came out amazing! Right now we're waiting for our girls to start laying! My children are quite excited to get the eggs!
