Hi all!!
My name is Brooke! I will be getting 4 baby chicks in August, 2 Silkies and 2 Buff Orpingtons. This will be my first foray into the chicken world and I am very excited! I am so glad to have a place where I can come and find all the info I need to set up a good home for my new pets. While I am looking forward to the eggs, you can see by my choice of breeds that I am looking for friendly birds as well. I can't wait for my chicks to get here and welcome any and all advice. I've already looked at all the brooder pics. Very helpful! I look forward to being part of this community. I also have 2 chihuahuas, 2 red-eared sliders (turtles) and a cat. lol.
