Hi everyone,

I have 7 week old chicks that I bought from Tractor Supply. I love them, but they are living in my basement until the coop and run are finished...don't know what I was thinking.

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. Don't worry, you are not alone in that kinda planning - i've done it before (and recently, for that matter - don't tell anyone, though

). Thinking can sometimes go for a vacation where chickens are involved, but once the coop is sorted you'll be a happy camper - as will your little ones.

G,ad yo ours join the flock! Congrats on your new chicks What breed/s have you started out with? I have just moved some chicks to the brooding shed out of my utility room!! But I have another just starting the hatching process now so my utility will be full agian soon. I'm sure you will enjoy your chicks very much, they are so rewarding to raise.
