Hi Sandy, isn't this a great site to learn from? I just "joined" tonight too (also from the PNW like you) lucky you to have a hobby farm! We just have a little place, but our town is rural and very accepting of folks having chickens. We've been building and preparing for them, picking up some chicks in the morning. Had chickens many years ago and have missed them!
